Gunite is the foundation of every serious custom pool. Done right, it's the difference between a pool that lasts twenty years and one that lasts fifty.
A Montgomery Custom Pool starts with a full structural steel plan: rebar every 8", tied at every intersection, engineered for Texas soil movement. From there we pressure-test the plumbing, apply gunite at the correct thickness, and let it cure properly — not rushed.
Every phase is inspected by the owner before we move to the next. Steel gets signed off. Plumbing gets pressure-tested. Gunite gets a proper cure. Tile alignment gets a personal check. Plaster gets applied by the same crew every time.
The result is a pool that stays tight, level, and beautiful for decades — and that's why so much of our work comes from neighbors of past clients.
